ARTIST STATEMENT
A creative dabbler, I seek the notion of conceptual and visual poetry as an advocate for interdisciplinary study, viewing design as the communication vehicle for the arts and sciences. Fostering kinship amongst the mediums of the visual arts, movement, architecture, and language, my artistic pursuits formalize through stained glass, immersive story-telling, and crafting spaces for fellowship. At the crux of my creative praxis lies testimony and intimacy, highlighting my exploration of harnessing the Wild, collective human sensations, and the architecture of self. Articulating experiences of bliss, biomimicry, anamnesis, and the body’s retention of trauma, my work kindles conversation on identity hierarchy, banes, and bridge-building through conversation.
