Myers is an Creative Director, architectural//set//bio-integrated -- Designer, Interdisciplinary Artist, and Performer from the Sonoran Desert. Centerfold to his creative career is experimental storytelling, journalistic research, and equitable social change through intersectional design. He holds a M.Arch from the University College of London, Bartlett School of Architecture, in Bio-Integrated Design, a program situated between the disciplines of biochemistry and the built environment. There his research ranged from material science, to systematic/life-cycle design, utilizing Nature as a collaborator within the design process.
With a BFA in Two-Dimensional Art [painting + drawing] from the University of Arizona, his practice formalizes through the mediums of stained glass, mixed media paintings, installation and sculpture. In a pluralistic pursuit of balancing many crafts and techniques, Myers has mapped his praxis of creativity as an integrated ecosystem, finding equilibrium amongst the ecotones, finding sensibility of an unorthodox yet sound career.
Significant opportunities of recent have toggled sectors amongst academia, the arts, and sciences: premiering his stained glass work at London Fashion Week with designer Hector Maclean, presenting his thesis work with IAAC Responsive Cities Symposium in Barcelona, as well as his masters group dissertation at Innsbruck University’s Towards Integrated Design Symposium published by Cambridge Press, and an international artist residency with PADA in Lisbon, Portugal researching post-industrial landscapes, interventions of architectural negative space, and sculptural stained glass.
