ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic research is situated in the unconventional intersections of bio-integrated design, multidisciplinary visual art, and performance. Exploring the liminal space where these disciplines meet is a deep-rooted appreciation for materiality and process, fostering intersectionality across the fields of fashion, movement, architecture, and nature. Formal synthesis of my multivalent practice manifests in the forms of stained glass, painting, installation, and set design. Expressed through immersive storytelling, the work ruminates on identity hierarchy, climate change, and ecological/spatial justice.The work is a duotone, both deeply personal and germane to the human experience, confronting religiosity and philosophical thought with humor and tenderness.
