Meeting the Clouds Halfway

Collaborating with the traditional basket weaver, Terrol Dew Johnson of the Tohono O'Odham nation,  Aranda \ Lasch embraces tradition and technology. Fabricating the initial experimentation and research moquettes for the exhibition, Meeting the Clouds Halfway, housed at the Museum of Contemporary Art, MOCA Tucson, I hand sewn copper wire holding structure to the algorithmic-computed cacti-inspired baskets.
